What game should I add to my collection to make an even 20 cabs?

After getting rid of a carload of junk I have enough room in the garage for one more upright cab. This will make twenty cabs...the big 2-0!

I'm having trouble thinking of what I want. I'm at the point where I don't want a basketcase or to piece a game together more than just adding a monitor. I have a spare WG4600 monitor to keep the game in the 'cheap' range if it is needed. Easy to maintain would be very nice. I like games from 1980 until 1996 or so.

SUGGESTIONS?
1. Elevator Action? I enjoyed it in my old arcade and it has good replay. A local buddy should be adding one so I can see if it still holds my attention.
2. Another generic 2-3 button JAMMA dressed up as conversion game for Final Fight or Splatterhouse, Aliens, Raiden II, Truxton, 60-in-1, or Similar game from my PCB collection?
3. R-Type? Probably the only Nintendo game I would want to add to my collection.
4. Hold out for some super rarity like Quantum, I-Robot?
5. Silent Scope? I know where I can find a project.

Here's a list of my dedicated and conversion cabs. Should any be sold? Any stinkers that have to go in your opinion? Local collectors have hinted that I should let some go. I can't think of any that I would want to get rid of off hand. All work (finally). Problems noted after cab. I did the work to these so they have my blood, sweat, and tears. All look unrestored, but okay. No mint factory restoration pieces.
1. Altered Beast (former Stargate, converted from empty cab).
2. Armor Attack (pieced together from half empty and no monitor).
3. Assault (joysticks half original, no side art).
4. Asteroids Deluxe (side art torn on right side).
5. Centipede (pieced together).
6. Galaga (repainted the crappy paint job that was there when I got it).
7. Hang-On mini (it's a bit delicate, but it's solid).
8. Night Driver sitdown (hole cut in black fiberglass to access shifter).
9. Omega Race (pain in the rear to keep operational but I love it).
10. Pac-Man (no art, but plays Ms. Pac-man with a harness swap).
11. Red Baron (one side RB art, the other side Battlezone).
12. Spy Hunter (cab nailed together at parts).
13. Star Castle (had to bondo together an entire half foot corner).
14. SFII: CE (pieced together from my old MAME cab, my horizontal JAMMA).
15. Strikers 1945 II (conversion, my vertical JAMMA).
16. Tempest (no more color vectors after this one).
17. Toobin (no more medium res after this one).
18. Turbo Outrun mini (plays regular Outrun with a quick harness swap).
19. Xybots (some water damage, rebuilt sticks, new t-molding, new front art).

You need the one game of mine you like playing the most - of course. Have fun finding it...

And I doubt you have the room for Silent Scope. But then - neither do I...

Yes, you're right as usual. No room for something that deep or tall.

Here's another thought: Arkanoid? They're like mold and grow anywhere there's arcade cabs. Or Breakout?

I would sell off Altered Beast. I just don't think it aged well. Maybe replace it with Golden Axe or Moonwalker to keep to the Sega system 16 vibe.

As for the last slot. Neo Geo MVS or a Jrok Multiwilliams.

Go for the R-Type! that game is really awesome, and I second Arkanoid, the game grows on ya after a while.

As for dropping a cab, if you have the room and you put a lot of work into them I say keep em. Unless one of em gets 0 play at all, then maybe convert it before shipping it off

I suggested dropping Altered Beast BECAUSE the one that used to be in my gameroom got way too much play.

It is this crappy sort of turd magnet game that pulls in visitors because they vaguely remember the name of the game and then they spend an hour scrolling through the game continuing until they beat it, while the actual good games go unplayed. This one sat next to a nice dedicated Ghosts n Goblins and yet all the visitors walked right up to it.

Ah, I didn't think of the turn magnet angle, although I can't say I've ever played Altered Beast. Is it any good? Or is it just like you said, an ok at best that just has nostalgia powers

I was thinking if the game gets 0 plays from the owner is all. What good is a cab if all it is is a coat rack?

Sidenote: I effing love the Genesis port of Ghosts'n Goblins. Or was it a port of the sequel? I forget lol

It just isn't very good. It had great graphics for the time and had a very popular Genesis port, but it just aged horribly. Today the game is a turd, but a turd with a recognizable name that all the 30-something players will pick right out even though much better titles are staring them right in the face.

I'll be keeping the Altered Beast because it plays so many games. Shinobi, Alien Syndrome, Golden Axe, ESWAT, etc. One of only a handful of PCBs I added this year was Tough Turf, a very hard to find clone-ish of Double Dragon by Sunsoft.

Anyhoo, since I sorta want another JAMMA cab, I may re-wire this cab from Sega System16 to JAMMA and go with a JAMMA-System16 adapter to make it more versatile. That's what Phet did to his system16 cab a long bit ago. It would be something to keep me occupied while I search for a dedicated cab for the spot.

Still haven't figured out what that will be. Hopefully something unique and cool that'll fit into the lineup. I keep hoping something neat will fall from the sky.
