What game did you think You'd Have by Now

I kind of thought I would have a Tempest by now. But, I keep talking myself out of it. Seems like it could get boring after awhile. Other than that, Missile Command seems like a logical game to get. Gyruss too. Nothing else comes to mind right now. :D

Another one for me is an MK2. Not sure why I can't find a nice one around here. Saw an empty painted over cab once, but never a complete game for anything under 8 large.

I think I'd love a MK2 also. I currently have a SF:CE Turbo in the garage, I kind of wish it was a MK2 instead. Cool cab, great art, crazy graphics.

I got all of my "Grails" I think. Its a fluid situation for other machines. The main ones I wanted were dedicated MK, MK2, and Killer Instinct. I have all of those as well as most of the games I liked playing in my arcade years ('90s). I do want a dedicated MK3 and a nice SF2:CE with all the CE art installed.

Never thought I would get classics other than Ms. Pac and Galaga but I gained an appreciation for them even though I missed that era and have gotten some nice ones. Asteroids Deluxe, Frogger, Centipede...I'm happy to have them.
I feel the same way. I grew up with the 90's games too and most games that have the nostalgia factor are from that era, but almost half my collection is early 80's classics.

I'm really pretty happy with my collection.. but I could go for a couple more

1. A cool space theme pin like black hole or Dr Who pin
2. Hydrothunder UR (dont see many of these in UR form)
3. Redbaron - like to try one for a while and see if it earns a permanent spot.

Of course I have no room for a couple more! Something would have to leave.

I feel blessed. In the last 15 years I have had owned almost all of the games mentioned so far. If I had to make a choice I would say Hydro Thunder sitdown. One game that will still make me get my wallet out.

Carnival. It's not a rare or expensive game but I haven't been able to find one locally. I'm also looking for a nice dedicated Galaga since I decided to sell my Ms. Pac/Galaga reunion game and get the dedicated cabinets instead (I have more room now than when I bought it).

Got my grails got. ;) Really, Space Wars was my only "grail" I ever decided I had to have.

Wouldn't mind getting, but not actively searching for: Berzerk, Asteroids upright, (Or get my cocktail working) Battlezone, ummm... Dunno. Just picking games up when they're dirt cheap, lately. Or trades.

Me too, I have everything I MUST have now. Unless you are counting pins. Which I would love a Star Trek: The Next Generation. I am going to start a piggy bank fund for one.

For me the reason I really want it isn't because it was one of the really good widebodys that everyone wants, like Twilight Zone, but more because I used to play it in a pool hall back in college all the time. I loved Star Trek and I love pinball. The game itself is really good, but it is the theme and nostalgia that really makes me want it. Otherwise I would be happy with any late 80's early 90's pin with a good wizard mode.

I'm falling in love with Carnival all over again. They have one at Star Worlds Arcade in DeKalb, IL. Played it last month and it was an awesome throwback to when I was a kid and played it at my local movie theater's game room. Not a "grail" for me, but I sure wouldn't mind having one.
