So, I watched an episode of hoarders a few months ago that blew my mind! It was about an arcade collector with over 20,000sf of arcades, pinballs, you name it!

Do any of you know this person or know the fate of all of his arcade equipment?

Did he sell any of it?

i have the distinct feeling he will not sell any of it.

if he wasn't such a lawsuit-happy megalomaniac, he'd partner up with someone who can make things happen and have a real EM museum running but, yeah, he's a douche. his crap still sits, packed into that old woolworth's building. you can go peek in the dirty windows, but that's about it.

The whole point of owning and restoring arcade and pinball machines is to share them with others, have fun and keep them alive! How can anyone enjoy anything if they just hide it away and selfishly keep it to themselves buried in a dark dirty wherehouse neglected. If I was in his position I would push those machines back into the world where we can all enjoy them and hang on to the ones I play and use often. At least he is starting to put some of them into the publics eye with this museum he is opening. Did you ever talk to him about this?

Yep... I've known him for about 16 years. He does not sell anything.

I think he may not really understand that he is alone with his games. The mannequins are his friends, and they are real! On that hoarders show, he actually made the certifiably insane woman in the other segment seem a little less crazy.

Some KLOVer is gonna get a hell of a warehouse raid once he kicks the bucket!!

I predict nothing will be sold before that point.

Well, make sure you add me to the waiting list. I'll fly out there to look inside this gold mine. I'm sure he has some amazing stuff in there! The Zoltar was the first thing that caught my eye!

This would be like noice releasing his turtles back into the wild so they could enjoy life.

He's had a few places over the years. One was a classic arcade up on the boardwalk that was shut down due to structural damage to the building after a winter storm or something. As for the Randyland place, I think the town has been preventing him from opening it for years and years. (I hear politics play a big part in that town) :(

have you seen the episode of south park - cartmanland?

I think a better question is whatever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paperboy, evening tv.
