Putting a mouser order together for re-capping my Nanao monitor. Ran into this big cap. "200 Whopping Volts?" "200 Wily Vixens?" "200 Willing Violets?"

I can't find anything on mouser with the notation "200 WV." Is this really just a regular ol' 200V, 680uf cap?

That's a filter cap and most likely doesn't need replacing - unless you like spending the money they charge for large value caps...

Cool. So the big ones are filter caps. Nope, don't like spending money when I don't need to.

So, the transistor to the right of the pic bolted to the heatsink. Would this be the HOT?

Since I can't ID the chassis from that photo, I don't know. Could be, or it could be a VR, vertical IC, etc...
