I'm in the process of getting a few cabs. One of these cabs has in it a galaga pcb. I'm going to try to sell this. How much should I ask for it? What can I realistically expect to get for it? What is a fair price?

You need to either prove it's 100% working, call it untested, or non working.

price will vary distinctly

Well let's assume it's 100% working. I have seen it in action and played it. It plays good. I didn't see anything wrong with it. However these older games I have very little experience with. Is there something I need to be on the look out for?

I'm not to much of a galaga fan. I already have a multi 60 in 1. Besides, it's not a dedicated galaga machine.

Make sure it's not a bootleg if you are pulling it from a conversion.

.

Okay now the big question. How do you tell a bootleg from an authentic pcb? I have very little experience with these older pcbs so please tell me what to look for? I would hate to sell this and find out it's a clone rather then an original.

Real. Note the name and copyright info near the top. Image stolen from jrok.com . The chips circled in colors are replacements and will probably look different on yours, but the board should be the same otherwise.

I believe all namco boards were green , very well soldered , high quality , plus the audio on the explosions has reverb to it !!

The copy board that i know of is MIdway , it is a blue board , poorly made , and often delaminates around solder tracks etc , Namco boards should always get a higher $ IMO , as long as they too are clean .
