Mine has to be NBA jam. Still cant get ahold of that machine though. Or Iron Man Ivan Stewart's Off Road.

Joust
Mario Bros
Wizard Of Wor

(Just proved those this weekend with a couple 11 yr. old's that had never played them before and spent 2 hours playing those three games)

If you're talking non-arcade, then it has to be: M.U.L.E. on the Commodore 64 (or Atari)

For me it's the regular stuff people mention (Mario Bros, Joust, etc) plus this game hardly anyone plays, Trog! I set it for limited continues, but max men and we see who can go for the high score!

Arcade: Super Offroad, Simpsons Arcade, and Xmen.

Console: Tetris Battlegaiden (SNES) It's a weird japanese import, but its extremely addictive. I challenge anyone claiming to be a "Tetris God" to this and mop the floor with them.

I gotta agree, it's NBA Jam. There's a reason it made more money than any other game in history. I coin-op all my games at home and that cab has pulled more quarters than all of my other cabs combined, over $700 worth in the first month I owned it.

I doubt NBA JAM has pulled in more cash that any game in history.

Rampage World Tour is a lot of fun with 3 players...

It's pretty fun to watch a couple play Space Duel (linked) and blame each other's "driving"
It would be fun to link 2 games together to have 4 players at once.

I thought Pac-Man was the biggest money-making game in history.

Apparently listed in the Guiness Book of World Records 2010 Gamer's Edition:

The Highest Grossing Video Arcade of All Time (NBA Jam which earned over $1 billion in its first year of release)

Now, perhaps in one year it is, but I'm sure plenty of other games have passed the $1 billion mark. hell, if all 115,000+ Ms. Pac-Man's each had 35,000 on their coin counters, that would be over $1 billion.

I don't think it's possible to know for sure which game has made the most money....

I agree it's impossible to tally an all-time total. NBA Jam certainly has an advantage as a 4-player game though. In a crowd, it's guaranteed 8-32 quarters every ten minutes depending if the free play for winner is set along with 1-2 quarters per credit.
