Really wasn't my type of game. Just checking out there - I never felt this was really really all the fun to play. It was alright.
I found one in a barn - pretty bad condition. What do you guys think? Is it really worth bringing one back?

It's a great game. Absolute blast with 2 players. I never understood how folks can't like the b&w games, most are great fun. Deathrace, Sea Wolf, Gunfight, Space Invaders, Drag Race, Boot Hill, Sprint 2, all awesome! Yet I have seen many people just ignore or dis them when they pop up for sale because many modern gamers deem them too boring and not graphically flashy enough. I just think it has a lot to do with what you played when you were younger, and who's a true arcade guy vs who's more of a life-long console gamer. I'd love a Deathrace.

Love the Death Race and the history behind it.

Although I do not think it is as rare as everyone says... I picked up two in a four month span.

As for gameplay? Very fun with 2 people/

I'm inclined to agree with this. Finding working examples in good shape is indeed rare, but the publicity at the time must've helped a little re: having people store a few more away rather than tear them apart.

Simple, fun two player game. I want one and have been sitting on a set of repro artwork and a repro cp for ages!

Really? Looks like a ton of work.

Y'know these are some of the best finds. Arcade games in old barns. That's how I came across my Warlords cocktail. Kind of reminds me of American Pickers.
The problem is, it took me 3 years to get it minty again.
