What do you think about Travel time & Crescendo?

Just picked up working pin's Travel time and Crescendo. Plan to "pristeen" them to "Fab" & "Groovy"......

Ken Layton turned me on to the artist
Christian Marche
the way he stylized the people is just great
he did many backglasses and they all are fantastic

im good for a few games of the older pins but i get so i want to play something newer pretty fast

Travel Time is a fun game. unique play style. good artwork. i'd buy it if the price was right.

Travel Time is one of the most popular games with casuals at Playland not at the Beach. As long as you have time on the clock, drains don't matter. I ran a tournament there back in February and was thinking about including it for the novices and kids.

The only problem is that after some play you'll get very good at nudging the ball into the center rollover, which adds 10 seconds to the clock. This can make the game too easy.

I wish they would make a pin that took the Spy Hunter approach. Start off with a timer and then the game reverts to a regular "lives" format. On Spy Hunter, if you exceed 10k when the timer expires you get one extra man. If you exceed 18k you get two.

Travel Time is a fun pin, a bit different from the usual, and has those zippy WMS EM flippers. Be sure to check the posts around the center pf saucer. They are screwed in and tend to come loose. The wooden-toothpicks-plus-white-glue-in-the-hole works well to anchor them solidly. Or, I guess, you could replace the post screws with through-bolts and nuts to secure from below the pf.
