Riddle me this...
What do *you* do with an empty cabinet that's too far gone for restoration and nobody wants it even for free?

Thanks to frog-man for the Wisconsin lottery tickets.

Bonus points if you can name the cab I used. :D

If they are really nice cabarets I recommend making a dog house out of them.

Currently I have a group of them just collecting dust at the end of my arcade/warehouse. Truly I haven't really tried getting rid of them but I will probably never do anything with them for years.

Asteroids...

I made several shelves in our shop BITD, out of cabinets. I think a dedicated Gain Ground cabinet helped me assemble of bunch of storage shelves. Aside from shelving, wall art, and now picture frames, not sure what else you can use them for.....oh yeah, kindling.

I *so* wanted to say "inb4 pics of fire." ...before a picture of fire was shown.

FIRST response. Nice job, Kev!

I'm gonna make shelves in my shed from a destroyed Playchoice 10 cab very soon...

Hopefully neither of those lottery tickets were winners. Did you have them scanned, just in case? You should. They can scan them without scratching them.

If you won, you owe me half.

You are welcome. You have to be wondering if one of those could be a winner?

It was a great internal debate, to scratch or not....
In the end, unless it was one of the big prizes, it really wouldn't matter since I can't cash it here in CT.

And for anyone still wondering, yes it was an Asteroids cab ;)

You were beat out by post #6, but at least you provided the visual. :D

huh?

I realize some of collectors go through cabinets like empty beers, but some of those
original cabinet sides are pure art. Is that difficult to store a 5/8 - 3/4 inch piece of
wood with maybe there's a chance that someone who's not yet so jaded that they may want to buy it from you?

Yeah, I get... No, I don't want buy all of your cabinets sides from the warehouse raid, but heck, are you really out of all your space?

At some point someone is going to want to wrap an entire wall with just cabinet sides and you'll clean up.

And okay you've doing this for blah blah blah many years and no ones ever wanted one before...

fine whatever. quit trying to out cool the other asshat and stop trashing cabinet sides you dicks.

UNTIL I GET SICK OF THEM.

signed, noob.

p.s.f.u.
