The Machine: Bride of Pinbot - Everything is perfect aside from VERY minimal wear on the playfield. Cabinet was never drilled and looks A+. I suppose the ramps, while not cracked or showing ball lines, aren't quite as bright as new ones, but other than that this thing is perfect.

Twilight Zone - Bought it from another KLOV member. It was pretty nice when I got it, and I've improved it quite a bit. Only a few "classy" mods on there. This is probably my favorite pin of all time. Only issues with this some very slight cab fade (not really noticeable in the darker game room) and a random scuff here and there. One of the threads on a bolt plate is stripped, but I will put a new plate in soon.

The Addams Family - Only real flaws are that it was drilled for a lockbar, some minor cabinet scuffs, and the cloud is missing the right decal. I've replaced targets, done a full shop job, and put LEDs into it since picking it up. I also swapped out some of the non-perfect plastics for new ones. Machine looks great.

Lord of the Rings - Playfield is flawless, and the ramps and targets are near perfect as well. Only issues are some flaky switches (Gollum's cave, Shire VUK, a trough switch), but I have I have the replacement switches on hand. Missing one plastic, that one that goes under the ring ramp. Random cab scratches and scuffs, but not noticeable from a few feet back. Other than that, great machine.

Revenge From Mars - Looks amazing! No wear, NOS translite just installed, and I just put in an LCD screen. I really think the LCD is an upgrade over the CRT that was in there, though I understand why some might not like them. Cab looks great. I'm pretty proud of this one. I just need to replace some flaky switches and it's 100%.

Spider-Man - Absolutely no wear on the entire machine, and the game looks pretty much like I just pulled it out of the box. I recently did a full topside teardown and shop shop job. I put in some colored incandescent bulbs in a few key places that really improved the look. I've also installed a shaker motor. Great machine.

World Cup Soccer '94 - Just finished shopping it out last night. I was lucky enough to find a new plastics set at a recent show along with a new ball. Ramp decals are starting to peel, and I should put cleaner rollover buttons in, but aside from that it's looking great.

Attack From Mars - Probably my nicest condition machine. It has new cab/head decals, a flawless backglass, no wear on the playfield, and everything else is spotless. It plays very fast. Only mods are the brighter mothership bulb/flasher. Probably will put LEDs in it for kicks.

The Simpsons (Data East) - Looks great for its age. A little wear where the ramp drops the ball, but it could be touched up easy. No broken plastics. Backglass is a true 10/10. I keep this at my brother's house. His kids absolutely love it.

OXO (EM) - Project still ongoing. It now powers up, but not much else after it resets the score reels. Backglass is fantastic, hardly any wear at all on the playfield. Underside is FILTHY, but should just take some elbow grease to clean up.

The Simpsons Pinball Party - Looks darn near HUO, aside from flipper button wear (covered by black protectors now). I got a steal on this as it was a route machine that was handled lightly, it was just dirty. It cleaned up like a champ!

Recently Sold or Traded
- Indiana Jones (WMS)
- Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World
- The Getaway
- Fish Tales
- Taxi (to jow)
- Hurricane
- Jackbot (I miss this one the most of all I've let go)
- Jurassic Park (miss this one too)

Phew! I'm ready to settle down, do some routine cleaning, and just PLAY for a while. Not really looking to buy/sell at this point.

Funhouse - first pin I've owned. Added many many many new parts to it. Playfield is a little too worn for my liking but certainly not terrible. Plan to buy IPB playfield for it.

Expecting delivered tomorrow or Friday:
World Cup Soccer 94 - Claimed to be HUO - absolutely beautiful shape other than I need to add cliffys.

Whirlwind - Needs a tear down as it's dirty as hell, playfield Diamondplated but has starting wear at cellar kickout. Cabinet has nicks and bruises - nothing to awfully bad.

Wii- Williams pinball ;)

Rocket (Genco) - Interesting EM from 1950. It worked perfectly when I left town last year and doesnt power up now. Hopefully it is just unplugged, I haven't gone behind it to look and the cats tend to play in the vacinity of the power cord. The backglass is in great shape, cab is decent and I bought it from a furniture restoration shop so all of the wood is beautiful.

Night Club (Bally) - Bingo machine from 1955. Backglass is flaking, I haven't decided whether to replace it with someone else's glass or buy an aftermarket translight and install it sandwiched between two pieces of glass. Cab is nice for its age and playfield is in good shape. The ball lift motor sticks occasionally and needs to be cleaned/lubricated.

Spooksville (Allied Leisure) - Unique EM that is in a "shaker" cabinet. The cab has some scrapes (this thing is huge and heavy). The playfield is nice but it does have some light out currently. The marquee is in good shape.

Twister (Sega) - Cab is nice with little fading, standard wear areas around the flipper buttons. Translite is in good condition, playfield is in good condition with two broken plastics (I have spares that I will install with the next rubber replacement). The spinning disk was not operating properly last time I played it.

Centaur (Bally) - Cab is in nice shape. The left hand rail is dented in one location. Playfield has the upper arch worn and there is wear along the outhole as well. Could use a good cleaning when I tear it down next. Backglass is in good condition.

Old Chicago (Bally) - Cab is in nice shape except for some areas where someone tried to touch it up with the wrong color paint. Backglass is perfect as best I can tell. One pop bumper has a damaged ring but all really need to be replaced. Plafield is good as are the plastics.

Baby Pacman (Bally) - Project machine. Nice cab, needs side art. I have a new CPO, the playfield is worn (I have two nice replacements and will sell the extra when I am done), marquee is in nice shape as is the bezel.

Hopefully arriving soon:

Super Mario Brothers Mushroom Kingdom - I have wanted one of these for a very long time but I have always been second or third in line. I found another one and was second in line but the other guy backed out and I paid for it on Monday. This should be picked up by the shippers today and delivered to my place in a couple of weeks.

Deadly, good luck with the World Cup Cliffy install. The machine definitely needs them, but it's a royal pain to install that full set. I'm glad I did it, but few machines are that challenging.

Ya know I read where you were saying it was a pain to do. I hated to read that. And unfortunately a person better add them as soon as they get their hands on the game. How long did it take you to install them?

Well, I installed them while shopping my machine out anyway, so it wasn't too big of a deal. You do need to get under ramps and plastics for all of them, but you also need to loosen things up underneath for the goal and the scoop to the right of it. It takes some tweaking to get those last two to lay down flat, but once you do they're solid. I actually had to expand the right hole on the protector for the goalie one with a drill though.

It's not so much difficult as it is time consuming. Like I said, I was already shopping the machine out so it wasn't too bad, but I could see it taking someone a couple of hours to do while most only take 5-15 minutes.

Addam's Family
First pin I ever owned. Got it a couple of years ago from a restorer in Vancouver. All new cabinet art, LED flashers in topper, decals on bookcase, thingbox, and back of playfield. Cliffy on electric chair scoop hole, fuse protectors for magnets. Basically mint as you can find. About to be sold for 3500CAN on June 9th :(

Skateball
Brought back from the dead. Rebuilt driver board & MPU from Steve Kulpa/Chris Munson. I installed a rectifier board from PINLOGIC and unhacked the previous owners terrrible wiring. Fixed the middle bank drop target assembly. Couple wear marks around the upper loop. Cab has typical scratches and dings here and there. Backglass is minty. Love the artwork and colors on this one. Currently for sale (800CAN)

DE Time Machine
Great playfield, few chipped plastics including one of the sling plastics. Cabinet also has a couple scratches/dings but really nice overall. Mint backglass. This machine has given me the least problems by far out of all my pins I've owned so far (9 total) Great music, real chime unit is a cool feature. Currently for sale (1200CAN)

Fish Tales
VERY dirty when I first got this one. I'm still working on getting it to 100percent, but I'm very close. I had to replace 3 severly burnt GI connectors (playfield/backbox) GI went out because of them. Had to replace the upper RH loop switch, catapult switch, ball trough gate. Removed an extra spring that wasn't supposed to be on the caster's club VUK assembly. Replaced a whack of plastics. DMD may be on it's way out...I'm sure I missed something.

Bram Stoker's Dracula
Just got it in a straight across trade for my World Cup Soccer 94. So far it is the hit of my collection. My son and most importantly my fiancee absolutely love it. Great sound and challenging gameplay. The multiballs are great, and the mist feature is cool of course. I might install some LED's into it. It's currently dead though, I'm having CPU issues, blowing f115 fuse, I'm going to replace some lm339's on the board tonight. Beautiful cab, no fade, perfect playfield not a spot of wear really. Mint translite. I really got a great trade for this one, once it works again :p

Swords of Fury
Definite "players" game. Playfield has some insert writing worn off, mylar ghosting or bubbling in some spots. I fixed one of the miniplayfield solenoids. The upper RH diverter needs to be looked at. I got a replacement for it from a parted machine, just have to figure out why it's opening to far. Doesn't really effect gameplay. Cabinet is in good condition. Fun game, but somewhat on the easy side. Pretty simple to rollover once you play it enough.

GONZO
Dr Who - Fixed the miniplayfield (replaced opto boards) which is much easier said then done, sold it to a collector friend. (Had the factory rotating Dalek)
World Cup Soccer 94 - Traded straight across for Bram Stoker's Dracula
Getaway HighSpeed II - Sold to a family in my town, wouldn't have found a much better example, had new cab art, NOS plastic set, perfect really. Sold for 2500CAN

Phew that was too much work, but I'm on company time haha..so F em :p

I've tried to stick with a Horror theme, but that is nearly impossible unless you're ok with a handful of duds in your collection, so I've given the nod to dark sci-fi as well. In the order I acquired them...

Big Shot (1973 Gottlieb) - Cabinet corners are scuffed up. Plays great! Minor touchup on the playfield, overall looks really nice. Some flaking in parts of the backglass. This was my dad's machine when I was a kid and my first exposure to real pinball.

Tales from the Crypt - My first solid state/dmd machine. Have since traded it off, but was a great game! Backbox was a little scratched up, but the playfield was mint. Played great.

Twilight Zone - Decided it was time to get serious. Picked this up locally via a post of games for sale on RGP. It needed some work, but it was a good way to get my feet wet with WPC repairs/systems. Cosmetically very nice except for left side cab fade. To date still one of the best playing TZ's I've come across. Came with all the first run mods like Rocket, White Clock, Camera, Piano, Gumballs & Gumball LED. My favorite machine!

Black Hole - Picked this up while on vacation and drove around with it in the truck for a week. Still worked great when I got it home. Cosmetically very nice except for some wear around the center pop bumper. Plays really good, but has a hack to get the lower playfield return kicker working. Might have damage on the boards I don't feel like getting into at this point.

Scared Stiff - Perfect condition except for left cab fade. Have an extra boney beast & ramps just in case one ever breaks. I got bored with it after a while, but since my collection has grown I've come to appreciate it more. It's GREAT for a fun, short game.

Funhouse - Original playfield showing little to no wear! I installed the Cliffy's to keep it that way. Plays beautifully and everything works. The cabinet is a little rough, but overall presentable.

Attack from Mars - Wanted one of these in the worst way! Still probably my #2 game next to TZ. Also, probably my nicest condition machine. Cosmetically near perfect with no fade. Stroke of Luck wear covered with a Cliffy. Love the callouts and music in this game!

Bram Stoker's Dracula - Went to help a friend pick up a pin and saw this in the warehouse. The guy said make an offer and I made one I thought he wouldn't say yes to, but he did. Came home with a Drac! VERY nice Drac with absolutely mint playfield and no cabinet fade. Some paint cracking along the front edge of the backbox. Played great until an opto in the coffin kickout got stuck closed the other day, haven't got around to it yet.

Mystery Castle (1993 Alvin G) - I had been looking for one of these for years and my big break finally came. A few very small chips in the playfield paint and some insert wear, but overall just beautiful. Even the cabinet is nearly flawless, which I hear is never the case with Alvin G machines. The kickout needs some adjusting and a few springs and coils are getting tired, but overall she plays fast with a lot of flow! I love the audio in this game nearly as much as AFM. It's like all the sounds/music you would hope would be in Haunted House, but aren't, ie. doors creaking, ghostly moaning, ghoulish laughter, thunder, screams, etc.

I just got a copy of the shipping document from the pick up of the Mushroom Kingdom machine! It should arrive within the next two weeks!

BTW, Deadly mentioned his video pinball games on hi Wii. I do have an Atari Video Pinball and a Tehkan Pinball Action as well...

I have:
WhoDunnit
The Machine: Bride of Pinbot
Comet - this is not mine. I've repaired/shopped it for someone and it is leaving today)

Sorcerer - will be getting this in a week or two from a friend

I have a mid 90's DMD pin in the early stages of a deal. More on that one once the deal is secure.

I currently own a Taxi that the OP lovingly cleaned up, and sold to me. It rocks.

I def would like to add another pin or two someday.

I own:

Eight Ball - currently awaiting a bend in the space-time continuum so I can get my CPR playfield swapped. Not enough time to complete all of my "to-do" list.

Fireball Classic - plays great. Mylar on playfield. Just have to keep it cleaned. One of my favorites.

Star Trek TNG - play it frequently. Just received new rubber kit for it and hope to get it swapped out this weekend.

Apollo - 1967 Williams. Current project. Needs playfield touch-up and flipper repair. Previous owner substituted wrong set screws on the flipper shaft which acted like a lathe and cut some deep ridges in the flipper shaft. Backglass has some minor flaking but is now sealed.

Strikes & Spares - had it for a while and sold it to my brother for what I had in it.

Lord of the Rings LE (2010): Bought NIB just a couple of months ago. Plays beautifully--all minor glitches have been fixed/adjusted. Army of the Dead figure placed at the bottom of the PotD to deflect onto the wire ramp--no ugly bounces. Balad-dur catches every shot--removed the small post in the depression and added a foam cushion to the backstop. Post behind Orthanc also stops the ball every time--tilted it slightly forward. Added many colored bulbs (green around the slings/PotD, yellow on the backboard and under the ramps). Have a glass Palantir ball with color-switching LED. Also added my own set of figures, some like the original, but cooler than the Stern layout imo. Flippers stay strong, orbits flow well, PotD is pretty random for all 4 switches.

Cirqus Voltaire (1998): Bought NIB at the end of the run. Still looks pristine, plays fast as hell (like-new if not better), high wire ramp works perfectly, flippers and pops like new, pf immaculate. Added some colored bulbs, and put on purple flippers with yellow rubbers.Neon is purple.

Lost World: Jurassic Park (1998): Won this NIB in 1998, still looks new/pristine. Added some colored bulbs (yellow in lower pf, green in upper pf). Fastest pin I've ever played, bar none. Pops, flippers all super-strong, like new. Very challenging and tough wizard mode (never got there--have to start and defeat 5 modes, have it set on 3-ball play.)

Gold Strike (EM, 1975): Traded this for a nice-looking (but boring!) Ro Go pin back in the early 80's. Cab has usual wear and many dings ('character'). Pf has some visible vertical lines near the side targets, some wear around the top drop target inserts. Plays strong and lively, as fast as any new pin (and all stock, not hi-tapped). The usual flaking of red paint on the bg. Very fast and challenging pin, does not give anything up to the newer pins--a great "player's machine" despite some minor cosmetic flaws.

Travel Time (EM, 1972): Neat time-based pin, currently at a friend's house. Pf not perfect but looks good, bg very good. Plays great. A couple of posts need to be re-set in the pf (toothpicks + glue!). Haven't played this in several months (friend is out-of-town). Will give it a thorough going-over when I repossess it someday. another great "player's machine."

[Don't ask me about my Want List--I have no room for more pins at present!!!)

How did you win it??

Pinbot - first pin 10 + years ago. Only saw 1 year of arcade life, the rest private owners. Replaced visor targets with jackbot NOS. Thing is in amazing shape.

The Machine Bride of Pinbot - playfield very worn and heavily smoke damaged, ramps cracked, but cliffy protectors installed. Backglass great, cab a bit scuffed, main board had GI connectors soldered directly to it >.<

Baby pacman - bought from Troxel. In decent shape and needs some love. I got lots of spare parts and need to do some board work.

Holy crap! You like Half-Life enough to make it your avatar and your user name? Sweeeet. :)
