got a hold of this cabinet for fifty bucks. cabinet in rough shape, monitor pretty much shot and i decided to go down the big M road and make this into something that would fit into my room in the basement and the whole comic book/superhero theme. Im damn proud how it turned out and wanted to show it but have been reluctant to do so in fear of getting ripped on here. Ive bought several dedicated games in the past year since i found this site and i get on here and read the new posts everyday so this site has helped me fix/restore mostly cosmetic issues and some minor technical ones on my dedicated games . Im basically outta room in the basement and garage so this game really has been cool to play some of my old favorites that i cant acquire. well just wanted to share. feel free to rip me if u want . its cool.

Looks good!

I like the red, white, and blue button placement.

Yes, it's not original, but you took a converted cab in crappy shape and made it your own while managing to tie it in with your place. Nice work.

thx for the comments. it makes me feel good to hear them because i respect all u guys on here that do such great work and help so many people. It was originally a qix because i could see some burn in on the screen. It was a real mother to fill the big hole where the trackball was for the bowling game when i redid the cp but it was a lotta fun to see it come together even though it was a lot of hard work.

I was going to ask you, it would be great to see progress pics of how you restored the control panel. Always great to see guys salvage a jacked up part. Maybe do a post in the restoration thread with all of your pictures? Don't tell me you just took before and after pics. :)

Don't worry man, i've got your back. I'll fight 'em off with you. You saved that game, man. Don't feel bad about that, that thing was destined for the dump and you gave it new life. New paint, artwork, made it fun to play again... Good for you. I think it looks great.

Looks cool, but desperatey needs some more Cap artwork on the interior. Maybe order the Avengers bezel from Gameongrafix? Or perhaps some button overlays?

i thought about it but i was worried i had too much art on it already and i was afraid it would look too mamey if thats a word or maybe just too busy for the eye. i might consider a bezel though.

i agree, its close to having too much art already, also i like the basic black. i think keeping it simple and plain is good when making a MAME cab...

Yeah sure whatever that looks great good job beautiful work its great cool awesome.

Now gimme the Capcom Bowling stuff

J/K - That cab looks great! I can't believe you PATCHED that panel - I would have had one rebent by a metal guy. That HAD to have been a ton of work.

I love it, very creative and nicely executed!

I'll second the motion to see more progress pictures.
