What do I need in a router for T-Molding

If at all possible, you want 1/2" shaft. If your router takes both, might as well buy 1/2" from MLCS or mail order - the prices are nearly the same for either size shaft. 1/2" feels a bit more solid and stable.

Hmmm... good to know. I think my router only takes 1/4" though- now I'll have to check!

I'm pretty sure this is where i got my slot cutter bit and 1/4" arbor - 16 + shipping isn't too bad (for 1/4" shank) edit - set number 5341

Nope, that's not too bad. I might just order one from t-molding.com the next time I place an order for t-molding. I keep borrowing my neighbor's, but I'm sure he'd prefer that I have my own.

I have used my dremel for this and was happy...

I have a full sized Craftsman router and Bosch a palm router, as well as a couple of Dremels XPR 400s. I figured the best way to do these was with the palm router, but was curious as to what model Dremel you have. And also, what attachments/bits did you use?
