I declair my tube swap a failure!

I moved the yoke while it's on. I move the rings. Beats me how you get a good picture on this thing. I've tempted fate enough I don't want to get zapped so I'm quiting while I'm ahead.

Anyhow after I relized that, I made up my mind that I need to figure out what chassis goes with this Tube. I had a thread awhile back asking what I was missing from my Ms Pacman Cocktail Table. Some members said this tube goes with a Happ while another person said it was a WG 4600. I'm still unsure so I decided to snap a few shots so you guys can have at it. Thanks in advance.

measure the yoke what are the ohms per coil.

it has a sign of being a WG K7000 or a 71xx-72xx

it is definitely a wells chassis of some kind.

On the 200 ohms setting I got

Red & Blue 4.5 ohms
Green & Yellow 43.4 ohms

Also spotted this diagram on the side when measuring. Haven't notice it before.

that is close to a 4900 yoke. a couple ohms off on both from mine but well within range of a 4900

the frame looks to have had a G07 in it sometime in its life but...

that is a wells yoke.

i would put a 4900 on it and call it a day.

It doesn't seem to be a CR23 socket on the neck. I tried a GO7 neck board just to see what the socket was. I can try it again. 4900 would be great cause that's what I'm trying to use in the tube swap that failed.

the 4900 and the G07 use the same tube.

make sure that there is not a piece of the old tube guide stuck in the socket on the neck board of either chassis you are trying.

The number on the photo says A48JLL90X18 but nothing comes up under that. When you take off the 18 and put in A48JLL90X a tube comes up being a CR 31.

1) it is not a G07, 4600, 4900, or K7000 - known because none of them had a dag connector like the one shown.

2) I'm willing to bet it was an Eygo or Wei-Ya replacement for a K4900.

that being said, you can probably cut the dag connector off and attach it the way the 4900's were and use a 4900 if you wish. Or just get a universal chassis...

There are two 19" K7000s...one has a neck that's compatible with a CR23, the other with a CR31.

I'd have to see the whole shebang to be sure, but it sounds like you've got a K7000 with a small neck.

Is the Yoke measurments close to the 19 inch K7000? I got 4.5 on Red and Blue and 43.4 on Yellow and Green.
