It's holding the control panel in place. I want to open it up so I can replace the glass, and then re-lock it. But I don't have the key.

Is there a way to work with this thing without taking it apart? I ask because I thought I remember someone saying you could turn these things pretty easily / use a generic key / something else. (Yes, I can unscrew the nut from behind, but the monitor is in the way, and I don't want to remove that yet.)

It's a Pundra.

Dah..
Is it just me - or is the lock in the unlocked position?
..
So you say someone put the cam in the 90 degree position from normal?
..
That would imply that they either had a key with a broken/filed key way, or they just put the cam on the lock and screwed the panel shut....???
..
Anyway,
You can always buy a 5-pin ACE Lock Tumbler pick , or pay a locksmith bucks ($x$$) to pick it and make a key. If you buy an ACE Tumbler pick it will give you the key code when you get the pins set and unlock the lock - then you only have to give the locksmith the key code to have one made for about $3.00 (vs $60).
..
An ACE Tumbler Pick is a valuable asset, especially if you have a lot of ACE Circular Pin Locks on your machines.
...
mine has served me well...
