What cabinet was this originally?

I would also say Power Drive, but I don't know if that was ever a dedicated cabinet or just a kit.

Could have been an Arch Rivals too... not sure about that vent though... none of the games we've mentioned have that vent.

It looks Midway-esque but not quite like Rampage. Looking at the pics of my old Rampage, the control panel seems higher and at a slightly different angle. The upper back is also at a different angle. Mine had the standard Midway dual entry coin door not a 3 slot like that one. I agree that it still could have been Arch Rivals (though I was always under the impression that it had the same cabinet shape as Rampage) or some other similar Midway cabinet.

Arch Rivals is a two player game and has two coin slots. The game pictured has three slots, as does Power Drive, Rampage and Star Guards.

Don't know about the "vent" though...

They came dedicated, I have one. Side stripes were orange/yellow/red vs. the green and yellow of Rampage.

I don't know...I had a Rampage and mine was dedicated and a little different than that. My Rampage never had the left side vent on the front that this game does.

Not sure that is a vent. It looks sort of like a bill accepter. For a while most of the game companies tinkered with 3 slot coin door (anybody remember Susan B. Anthonys?). Also I have seen several re-imports from Europe that had three slots. And a final theory, the op that owned it only had a pin coin door handy and jammed it in.

Take your pick. Unless it has a tag on the back with model name and number, you will never know....
