Only info I can find on the cab so far, is that it was made in West Germany. Haven't cracked it open yet, and it had Mat Mania installed from the looks of it. As I said, haven't done anything with it yet, but curious of what it is or any information surrounding it. Thanks

That thing looks evil.

I love it. (Sorry - dunno what it was/is.)

I helped grab this , but we were trying to figure this out, it says NSM on it, anyone know anything about these, that ashtray up front makes me want to light up a smoke..

After digging on the interwebs for a while, I found a couple crafty Germans mamed one of these, its called an NSM Duo Play plus, no flipping idea what that means, Andys arcade had a manual for it, in German of course, someone shed some light on these, appears they are generic? anyone ever seen one? How bout our Euro Klovrs?

NSM is a German jukebox manufacturer. it wouldn't at all surprise me if this was their foray into video games when the crazy hit in the late '70's or early 80's.

What a great piece of history....I would restore the cabinet or at least clean it up a bit. Definitely not your everyday generic. Would be a fun project to find a German-themed game and stuff it in there.

So does the cabinet have a back door or does it open from the front like a Super Don Cabinet? I've seen rear cabinet rails like that on my old Pacific Novelty Thief dedicated cab.

Would be neat to know if there's anything else inside the cab that renders further intel.

Ill be cleaning it up and tearing it down in the next few weeks, Ill document whats in the thing, its locked up tight, for now it sits in famed but dirty SterlingRush garage... Ill be sure to boil my hands after I get it..:D

i had factory rails like that on my Centuri Pleiads cabinet. i'm not sure if it's what they were intended for but they made it really easy to slide the cab into my van on its back. :)

at least we know what the grail was/is now that warranted selling your LL. :)

Naw, Ill keep the LL if I dont sell it soon, Im suprised nobody has bit on it yet, the grail is another classic, dont have it yet and dont want to jix it, this thing was the right price, cheap. So we figured, what the hell, .

funny you should note the Super D, there was a converted super don where I got this.., it was a bad hacked conversion in an even worse shape cabinet.. and yes, both are hinged on the front...

universal games have those rear wood rails..

The only reason to have front access would be a convert a game or laserdisc.. The only other laserdisc game universal has listed on klov is captain zapp..

I'll remember that, if the lock has been drilled out, there may be a surprise in there for ya.
Just sayin'....... :)

If you take a dump in another cab, that will be three times this month. Just keep your pants up and dont make a german video in my german cabinet.

The lower half of the front of the NSM cab (below and including the control panel) swings out like a hinged door from the side. Then the upper half of the front (the bezel and marquee area) swings up toward the ceiling via hinges on the top of the cab.

I saw pics of one of these cabinets in an opened position about 10 years ago, and I never forgot it...

Kyle

Tempest.....check, Crystal Castles......check, German Duo Play Plus.........gettin' the camera ready :)

It doesn't seem like there's a lot of info on the net regarding these, at least in a language I can read. I just may crack the beast open and see what's inside.

Go ahead, crack it open and take pics, just no steamer beans in it this time...

It works? whooly chit... that is funny, looks clean on the inside considering the source... wow, maybe Ill leave the spoiler on it when I drive it home, those crazy Germans...
