I'd go with Major Havoc. That game is probably my favorite and never gets old. If not, then my next vote would be Quantum. It's a great simple game that's a blast to play.

I do have a spare firefox cabinet that I haven't used yet. And I have a friend that I may be able to pick up a MH board from. And Ram Controls has the new MH reproductions... Maybe MH isn't so far fetched an idea.

Shouldn't be too heard to resurrect with newer Mame code if either the existing code is out there for the old version, or the spec for what you send to the board is out there.

If some one creates a new version of the VecotrMAME FE and it uses a new version of MAME I'd buy another ZVG in a heart beat.

I could do it if I had the specs and/or the old diffs for vectormame. I don't have a color vector monitor to test on, but I have an extra mono one that I need to get the board fixed on that I could use.

I'd do a Black Widow since I already have a Space Duel. A friend of mine had a BW a few years back and at the time I had never heard of it; but got to play it a lot and I think its a cool game. He sold it a long time ago and regrets it now. I regret I didn't buy it from him.

I played Black Widow for the first time recently (sadly in Mame). . what a great game! I don't remember ever seeing it when I was a kid.

I thought I would post in with the results thus far. Assuming I counted correctly and interpretted everyones comments as votes heres what we got.

Space Duel=3 votes

So it looks like Black Widow, or Major Havoc are the obvious contenders. Although Space Duel & Quantum are close seconds. It may also depend on whether I can score a nice dedicated cab as to which game I try to build. And I may be able to get a Space Duel cab a lot easier than a black widow cab. I know, same cab, but it would be nice to piece a dedicated unit back together. But if the ZVG gets rereleased, I may just put it in a dynamo cabinet. But using my spare Firefox cab for a Major Havoc would be easiest.

Collectability would be Major Havoc...but for fast fun, it would be Black Widow...for sound, it would be Space Duel (great bass).
