So I try to hit the craigslist and FB marketplace regularly to see what pops up. I typically just search for arcade or a specific title that I'm looking for. I have noticed that generic searches like "arcade" don't always bring everything up even if it had arcade in the title. So what are some of your favorite keyword searches when scanning the interwebz to see what's out there

"takes quarters" ... LOL ;)

One of the last games I collected, I used the term "Taito". And it worked. Very few hits. Add had no other useful terms in it.

Use John's search strings on CL

Recent story on topic:

My buddy has been wanting me to make him a 60in1 for a few months now. Been looking for a Midway UR cab because those are easy to do a tasteful multi, as we all know. On Friday, a Pac UR came up for $75. I lost the ad, but it was titled "video game arecade" with no mention of arcade or Pac. With an "arcade" search, I never would have seen it. Buddy got in the car, and 3hrs later, it was in his garage.
Long story short, use those strings, and you can change some of the items to match what you want

I look for games I want.

I don't buy indiscriminately.

If I see a pin for the right price, I'll go for it, rehab it, and donate it to charity. It has to be the right pin.

the search that works for me (for CL) has always been:

arcade -buying -instant -wanted -wheel -regal -astro -car -organ -mobile -virtual -zizzle -tickets

My successful but rare search that netted me my games are "free wood"!

Btw -anyone remember the Dankey Kang OG cab on ebay that went for cheap? (A & O must of been switched on keyboard)
