What are your best 'gets' of 2010?

I picked up a Smash TV and candy cabinrt. So far, the only things I picked up this year.

For 2010 it would be Mad Planets that was only on location for about a year before living in a very loving home up until early this year when I brought her to MI. If all goes as planned I "may" have one game that tops everything I've bought this year.

Mouse Trap was my second favorite pickup.

Last week I bought my first one of 2010. Vindicators was one of those quirky little Atari games that balanced unique controls, a cool cab, and great arts. The gameplay has great depth as well. Pretty much a mix between Assault and Marble Madness.

So when this Vindy showed up on my local CL, I was all over it. Only thing it needs is a new microswitch in the player one trigger. Hell, this was the first cab I ever owned that had all lights (even the reject buttons) all working.

major havoc (tempest conversion) 1st place winner for this year for me
pole position

great swordsman (tied for 1st) got the board from dick millikan over a year ago, but had bob roberts make me a jamma adapter and got her up and working 2 weeks ago.

This is a tuff one but i'm on the verge of picking up 15 games for a reasonable price. Nothing in here that makes my weiner tingle initially but the thought of scrapping every single one of em does give me a little lift.

Nice pickup on the Taxi. I was thinking about it but never made even a visit to see it because I really don't have the cash and I definitely don't have the space to put it anywhere.

Geez - I'm not sure I've had a 2010 pickup. I had a few games come from Phallic Phet but I think those were 2009.

Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder

I've since swapped out the monitor for a better one (weak guns in the tube) and put in Spiderman Arcade for game swapping.

It's what I called "not your daddy's Holy Grail."

I'd have to go with the Drag Race I picked up earlier this year. I've been looking for one for the last 6 or so years and now I can finally cross it off my list.

I got so many this year, which is a good thing and bad thing. Good thing is I was able to track down a lot of my wants on my list to complete my gameroom. The bad is along with those wants cames tons of others that I got which caused me to get another storage unit. I guess my top five are

Naomi Universal Cabs

Got 3 more coming which will complete my collection

One other that I rather not say because its not a done deal yet.
