Probably not as short as Heavy Rain. You can get through HR in a day, easily. Just finished getting all trophies - my first platinum.

I'm currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks on the DS. A couple of years ago I decided "Hey, I think I'll complete all the Zelda games." I've bought or borrowed all the old Nintendo consoles and have finished most of the series, with only have a few more left to do: The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. (and the last level of The Adventure of Link - it was making me want to throw my TV out the window , so I gave up on it and will come back to it later)

Windwaker and Twilight Princess are both very much worth it. I think you'll really enjoy them and will be a good way to finish out the series.

I haven't finished a Zelda game since the first one. Tried on the 64, but I absolutely hated Ocarina of Time. I have Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks on DS, and some GBA titles (Minish Cap?) because my wife likes the series. When I run out of all my other DS games I'll give Zelda another chance.

I put 2 hours into Mass Effect 2 today while my daughter napped, and got through 1/4 of Jak and Daxter. I should be able to finish J&D on the bus rides next week.

Minish Cap

Minish Cap never gets any love, but I thought it was a great game. You should play through this (I prefer to play these on the GC GBA player) if you ever get a chance.

That reminds me. When the fuck is Nintendo gonna make a Wii DS player? Remote movements would replace stylus strokes. It would be perfect.

Amen. I think we are the only two that didn't really like OoT. Though I stopped playing it because I didn't do whatever I needed to do to make friends with the horse in the future so I had to run everywhere. LAME.

I didn't finish Minish Cap either, but it was really good from what I recall. I really need to finish it. I think I was playing it when Phantom Hourglass came out, so I kinda screwed myself on both of those :p

I've thought about this as well, but really? I don't think it would really work out too well. I think they'd have to put way too much work into it to make it any good and there's not promise it would sell. I'm sure they'd think twice after the Super Game Boy and GC GBA Player.

Now, I'd be really interested if I could rotate my 46" LCD and do that. But I bet it would look like add anyway :)

Then again, I sometimes wonder why Sony won't let me download PSP games to my PS3 to play. But the answer is so obviously obvious.

Rediscovered Pokemon Red Version. I never finished it back in the day. No idea why, but I'm waaay back into it now. Picked up silver on eBay so I'll be playing that next, maybe. Yes, old GB/GBC versions. I hope the battery holds out!

Also SFIV on PS3. Almost daily.

My free time is pretty chopped up, so 10-15 minutes here and there is all I can manage, these games seem to be perfect for that.

I loved Minish Cap too, but I've heard a lot of people say they hated it. I'm not sure why, but whatever.

Yep, I didn't get the horse and running everywhere completely ruined that game.

It's not that I think Minish Cap is bad... it's just that I never gave it a chance after disliking other Zelda games. Maybe I'll throw it in the GBA slot of my DS as a back up (bumping out Xevious).

I'm about 1/2 way through God of War II and I've been obsessed with Rittai Picross on the DS. I'm also about 1/2 way through Uncharted 2 which has been great so far. There's too much out there and not enough time.

Both Uncharteds are awesome. I hope they can keep making those better each time.

I refuse to buy Spirit Tracks for DS until I've gotten farther into (or perhaps even finished) Phantom Hourglass, so that's what I'm playing right now. I keep forgetting that I need to use the mic in the game, though. I hate yelling into that thing. I feel like an idiot doing it... and it startles the kitties.

I'm currently playing Uncharted 1, and its fucking awesome.

Finished up Dante's Inferno for a third time and got the 1000 on achievements. Also went back to Mini Ninjas for a bit and got the 1000 on achievements as well. I've got to finally get to Heavy Rain, but I just didn't feel like playing anything today. I didn't play any video games today at all. I did get a couple games in the mail though.

That's awesome that you guys can finish up a game in a day or two. I'm just happy I finally got to my rival in the Pokemon League in Pokemon Red after a week of trying (didn't beat him, though). Silver version is sitting on my dresser waiting for me. Slowly but surely.

Beat a guy in Championship mode in SF4 who was at 14k GP. I've got like 3.5k GP. It was cool, but I don't think he (Ryu) knew the matchup (Viper).

You guys are making me interested in these other games, too. This will ultimately be bad for my arcade projects, as well as my honey-do list.

Oh, got the wife Okami for wii. She's playing it a little bit daily. The kids are into it too, 5 and 3 year olds just running around and bashing into things. They will pause it when there's bad guys and let the wife take care of them.

Also hit up Viewtiful Joe on DS for a little bit. Seems like fun, and I just found out I can bring it to the court house for jury duty next week. Hope there's lots of breaks.

Spirit Tracks uses the mic a lot too. I got the game right before my last trip to China so I'd have something to play on the 15-hour flight. I must have looked like a lunatic to the other passengers, blowing and yelling into my DS.

HAHAHA, awesome.

I was loving Phantom Hourglass til I discovered the Mario and Luigi series! I finished Superstar Saga and now I'm a quarter of the way through Partners in Time. Then I have Bowsers Inside Story waiting after that. All of my other portable games got put on hold for those games and that's ok with me. Phantom Hourglass is great though...one day I'll get back to it.

Besides Modern Warfare 2 I am stuck in the past though. I'm playing DK Country 2, Zelda Link to the Past, Super Mario World(for the millionth time), Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Wave Race Blue Storm, Paper Mario, and many more. I wish I had the time in the world to finish all of the games I want to finish. It's good to know that unless I win the lottery and retire at 25 I will always have great games that I want to finish. I'm only worried that there will someday be an end to the Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi series. That will be a sad realization.

Fallout 3. Yes I am very behing on my console gaming. :(

Arcade machines don't work on themselves after all.
