I have always collected console games, but have been on a Sega Dreamcast kick lately trying to complete the collection. What are you currently hunting games for??

And if anyone has Dreamcast games they are looking to get rid of I am interested....

The only dreamcast stuff I have siting around is a NIB copy of Sega Bass Fishing and Fishing Controller.

We have a dreamcast at work, so I bought these, but we haven't used the DC in around 6 months or so.

I'll have to dig through my collection and see what I have dupes for. I would be interested in trading for games I don't have.

Most of the games I have are Sealed. When they announced the cancellation of the DC and games were going on sale, I started buying them up when I could afford to. The only regret at this point was not buying an extra DC new in the box. I still have all the boxes etc... for mine, but not quite the same.

I'm not real sure right now. I was on a Sunsoft spree for a bit, and then recently bought a bunch of PS2 games. I have a DC but not many games. I don't think any extras either. With garage sale season starting up, I'm not going to be going after anything specific, likely just pick up anything I see.

I was collecting complete copies of all the nes games I ever enjoyed as a kid,but that was getting expensive so I trimmed it down to just collecting my most favorite titles.Lately I've been collecting old game company posters,e.g.,Konami,Capcom,Tecmo,etc.

If you are on ze Twitter Retro Gamer @oldgamereviewer is all about the Dream Cast these days. He has posting some good reviews.

I had about 90% of SNES completed including Donkey Kong Competition but Im starting a game store so I put some into it. PS1 is one of my favorites to collect for.

Only thing I am currently collecting is <$100 working arcade games...

I recently bought an Atari Jaguar rotary controller for Tempest 2000. But I don't own an Atari Jaguar (used to but not anymore). Now I just need that console and a copy of Tempest 2000. Can't wait to play it with a rotary!

Virtual boy

just found a nice boxed nintendo virtual boy @ the thrift store a few weeks ago. later in the week i found some vb games i didnt own over at games for less (boxed wario and mario clash).

i always loved this system. can only play it in short spurts (headaches and all). hehe..

i was so excited when i found the boxed system... then i realized that the damn power plug was not included with the system :(

anyone have an extra VIRTUAL BOY POWER ADAPTER for sale?? this thing sucks 6aa batteries pretty quickly. chris

Currently I am collecting empty boxes in preparation to move. So basically I'm not collecting anything, but I will probably get something if its interesting enough.

This is my first post in the forum: I say hallo to everyone(uhm the first post...and the first "off-topic"!)
Because I'm not fond in arcades, I'm collecting consoles and games; specially Nintendo ones and in particular Game Cube games. But my collections are far away than "complete" or even "almost-complete". For other consoles I try to collect the best titles. Recently I'm thinkin' to start collecting not only consoles, but even computers like the gloryous C=64.
I also gather any kind of merchandise about videogames, from gadgets to posters, or books and magazines and, recently growing in number in my country, comics based on vg series I like

Welcome! The console collector community here is larger than this forum will make it appear. Obviously the majority of the members here are arcade collectors, many of whom have fairly large console collections as well, but that don't post in this console forum for whatever reason. Many of them collect classic consoles only so they don't post here since the topics are mostly related to current generation consoles and PC games.

Regardless, we have a great little community here, so stick around, ask questions, share your knowledge and enjoy :)
