They are called inserts. If you are trying to replace them in a plastic handle youll need some epoxy too.

Thanks, after an hour of Internet searching I just can't find any just like these.
They are #6-32. I thought about trying a normal nut, but where they "insert" are just way too small. What's the odds Lowes or HD would have anything like this?
Maybe I could break the plastic off and glue down a regular not. OR I could just glue the handles together and hope that I never need inside of them ever again. I but model glue would work!?!

I think you'll have a little better luck searching for "threaded inserts". Here's the McMaster page:

Click the "grooved and barbed" type in the left pane and I think you'll have what you need.
