In the last batch of stuff I picked up from an old operator, I picked up tons of parts bins. Resistors, transistors, diods, ram chips, pots, etc.

There were also tons of chips of all sorts, all NOS, some not.

What are the chips for below? If you guys can help me identify them, I thank you in advance. Are they pinball or arcade related?

the udn 6110a chips are used on pinball displays as segment drivers.

the 9316's are prob pulls from bally pinball machines (early stuff -17 -35 mpu)

th mc 14499p are just cmos chips (can be looked up as cd4499 also)

other stuff I dunno

Many of those numbers you can punch into google and get your answers.

The ones marked 035143/144/145 and 035127 are Asteroids mask ROMs. (Same as EPROMs, but one-time programmable only).

The 034xxx ones are Lunar Lander mask ROMs. Those aren't too common.

The 9316's are mask ROMs, probably pinball. I don't know enough about the other numbers to know which games, but here's a link about reading them. (Does ROMIDENT support pins?)

MC14499P are 7-segment display drivers.

If you want to find out about the masked ROMs labeled E-***-** then go to this page: http://www.pinrepair.com/bally/ballyro2.htm

Most (if not all) of those ROMs have been dumped and are available on either IPDB or vpforums. I would never use the masked ROMs but would instead configure a board to use EPROMs and burn what was needed.

The 8085 is a CPU chip and the 8155 a RIOT chip. I'm not sure about the other 9316s.
