Differences if any between Ring King arcade and the NES version? Always liked it on the NES but never played it in the arcade. Any ways I was watching the movie "BIG" last night and it showed some games on a boardwalk and one of those was Ring King. I kinda forgot about this game and I now have some interest in it. Any help would be great. It's so funny when I watch movies now old or new the arcade games seem to jump right out at you. Before I got into this hobby I didn't even notice them. Lol!!!! I ask whoever I am watching that movie with "did you see that Ring King?" and they were like "what?" LOL!!!

The graphics and audio were better in the arcade version. For example, the arcade version's boxer sprites had shading, while the NES version's didn't. I haven't played either game enough to know if there are significant gameplay differences. Also, the arcade version ran on a vertical monitor, while all NES games were for horizontal monitors, of course.
