Those all sound samey and boring. Time to look back a few years and see some really interesting stuff.I'm a fan of strange stuff and I'm curious what arcade titles there are out there that scratch that itch.
To give a few examples of what I mean, here are some of the ones I know of.
Trio the Punch: Never Forget Me - a 2d beat em up where you can fight a crow in a Colonel Sanders costume.
Ninja Baseball Batman - a beat em up where you play as 4 TMNT knock offs and fight sentient baseball equipment.
Boogie Wings - a shoot em up where if your plane get blow up you can ride other things like elephants or bicycles.
Michael Jackson's Moon Walker - an isometric beat em up where you play as up to 3 clones of the king of pop music.
The Outfoxies - a platform brawler where you play as assassin's in a tournament. One of the assassins is a suit wearing chimpanzee who demands payment in bananas.
J.J. Squawkers - an acid trip of a platformer that seems mostly normal at first but just becomes more bizarre as the game progresses.
Bonus points if they're multi player, since I like confusing my friends.
I tend to agree, I would have a hard time getting rid of mine. Love showing it off to people as "The strangest game you have ever seen"Working on a Snacks n Jaxson right now. It doesn't get much stranger than this.
Sega test marketed it here and it did well, so they were going to release it. But for whatever reason, Gremlin reworked it into Digger and sold that version instead.Wasn't this Japan-Only tho? Also there was a remake of this game for the arcades and steam that was released a few years back.
I was scrolling and waiting for someone to post that.
Mikie set me up with some false expectations of the high school experience. I never even once got to run around headbutting my teachers to The Beatles. In fact, I just got stuck having to overpay for a Z80-based graphing calculator in, like, 2010.I immediately thought of Mike and it's head bunting teachers
This looks fucking awesome, I love the weird blank control panel, makes the entire flyer feel even more eerie and weirdI would say Gaikotsu 999, but it's not yet dumped.
It still looks awesome though.

One of the many fine things Desert Oracle Radio taught me is that it's pronounced "Zy-ziks". (/ˈzaɪzɪks/)
TIL there was a game called Uncle Poo.
