Boy you know the real meaning of genorosity when you deal with people in this
community. I posted the above message in this thread and probably an hour
later I had a PM from Orion3311 inviting me to a monitor repair party on Sunday at his house.
Sunday.. his mothers Birthday of all days! Then EagleTG showed up and helped
me get two of my G07's back to life and fixed a DK Jr. game for another KLOV'r.
They worked with me for over 7 hours showing me everything they know about monitor repair.
Needless to say. I got home tonight and plugged in one of the G07's.. now I have a 100% working
centipede and as soon as I can find a missing cable.. I should have my Jr. Pacman up and running.
I really cant thank both of them enough for basically making my xmas wish come true.

I need him to like smash me on the head with a magic wand of some kind and grant me the wisdom and ambition to get at least ONE of my damn games working!
No problem I'm hoping to do another one after the holidays for other locals, and next time I'll have a little bit better setup. Huge thanks to Todd for coming by and having a couple bits we needed to pull it off!

I actually went there with the intent of helping others and honing my monitor skills a bit more, Orion is a wealth of arcade monitor knowledge. There are never a lack of people that need monitor repair (and I prefer not to do "house calls"), so I thought this was a great idea!
I'd like to have success in repairing my Star Wars Trilogy projection monitor, my Q*Bert board set, and my Pole Position board set. Those are all pretty big requests so I'd settle for just one.
A perfectly converged and working WG6100 monitor for my Tempest, or 6 months without a vet bill...

My wish is for a mostly new, fully Function able Arcade Transporter (F.A.T.) with AC.
