I just got a revolution x in very nice condition but the vibrating doesn't work. Player 1 only vibrates very faint and maybe if you shake it will go a little harder but not like it should. Player 2 doesn't work at all , it did for two secs the whole 1 hr I was playing it and for those two secs it was strong and acted like it should . What are some things I should check?

There are fuses for the guns. Check there for the dead gun.

The weak gun may just be bad connections, look for cracked solder joints near the solenoid. Also there is a pot in the housing of the guns, I don't know what it is for (speed I'd guess) but it may be worth your time adjusting it to see what it does.

if the terminator guns will plug right in, I bet you can narrow the problem down to a short in the guns or before.

In the settings menu I think you can change the settings on intensity of shakers.

I fixed player one. The spring was broken on the solenoid , The solenoid on player 2 looked brand new but doesnt work, there has to be a lose wire because I took the solenoid form player 2 and put it in player 1 and it works like a champ!! So my guess is a bad connection somewhere for player 2 or the driver board is bad for player 2

BTW--they're not light guns. Positional. Just sayin.... :)

Did you check all the fuses on the driver board?

Yeah I figured that out when I took them apart , they work on x/y axis with two different pots. I looked at all the fuses and they look good so I'm thinking it's a lose wire somewhere since it worked for like two secs. I doubt it's the board since the test tries and give the gun commands to vibrate

I can still not figure out why the second player is not working, i dont see any lose wires or broken wires. The solenoid should do something as it was working in the player 1. The fuse is fine also so i dont have a clue at this point
