What adhesive to use to reglue a portion of side art back onto the cabinet? Obviously want something very thin that won't show any lumps. Isn't there some sort of spray on adhesive? What brand and type? Does it work well? Thanks.

Here is what I use. It's very strong but you may want to test it to see if it leaves "bumps" or not. It can be thick at times

But, this has been discussed before. I remember last time someone suggesting wood glue because it's easy to wipe clean excess. I still want to test that

For the record, I like 77 too.

Do they thin it first? If I was going to try it, I'd probably put on as thin a coat as possible, apply the art, and squeegee the excess out.

I need to do this on some old art, too but was worried about lumps so I'm interested in where this goes. I can't imagine a squeegee would work well seeing as this stuff dries so fast, and is supposed to be glued together after it gets tacky, right?

Sorry, I was talking about wood glue then. Yeah, there's no way to squeegee excess spray adhesive.

For a lifted corner, I'd give it a shot of spray, and when it was tacky I'd hold it taught with one hand, and use a small squeegee to press it down nice and flat.
