i'd need meth to make a sundance. I only had vicodin here, so it came out as a rip-off.

yeah, i just looked on the klov listing for it, looks like the same cab.

You should see the one Gary picked up for $50 at the last St. Louis Superauction, the thing looked like the bottom foot of it was just melting it had so much water damage.

Just gorgeous Brett. I really, really wish I could bring my old cab up and we just transfer parts over, but - if I'm going to all the effort of that, I may as well do it right and have all the carriage bolts painted and done rather than having to take all of them right back out again.
Wow, ain't this a situation. I can't even work in my garage anymore. Going to be a long, long winter bud.
Anyways - see ya's this weekend pending the weather. It looks beautiful. At least the second one does. The 3rd pic looks like maybe some scuff marks on the sidepanel but probably just needs a rag over it.
Thanks for doing this without that $300.00 bison black or whatever the laminate is called. I think it'll turn out just fine as melamine.
Now I just have to find some sideart for it!
Let me know which one is mine so's I can update my site with the proper pic.

I think the only issue I'll have is disposing of the old cab. With you already having the plans jotted into your CNC, if I were to put together a tailgunner, it probably wouldn't take too much to just cut white melamine for it rather than going through all the bondo and sanding and painting of my old one. So looks like I'll have a Rip-Off cab this spring I'll be wanting to get rid of.

It's picture #3 lol it is dusty. Wherever there's grooves on the cnc table from previous cutting, it concentrates the dust in those channels, and leaves a dust pattern behind. Airhose and a towel and it looks good.

Oh man!!

I look forward to the day when I order a Star castle cab and two Warlords cocktail cabs from you. :D

Sundance uses the same cab too, correct?

sundance uses a 22" monitor so the interior mounting might be slightly different. On the barrier I had the back door had maybe a 1/2 notch to accomodate to larger tube. Barrier cab is a little smaller than ripoff, so a notch might not be needed.

But if your talking exterior, sundance is pretty close/same to ripoff.

very nice work there, wish i could find the pic's of the very rotten ripoff i had, it's cabinet ended at the bottom of the coin door, looked like a cabaret, was quite short.

the tailgunner UR cabinet i have has smooth melamine sides for both the white and black, none of the leather stuff was used on it.

There's an Armor Attack in that style cabinet that shows up at California Extreme. It's the only one I've seen like that though.

Has anyone heard of currently or soon to be available Repro side art for Ripoff? I'd love to find a replacement for mine.

I think someone did a small run a long while back. Every once in a while someone posts they have some NOS sideart. I think its be a small lot of us that would sign up for some, unfortunately.

I've been meaning to scan mine. My side art is decent/complete, but with some very noticeable scratched/gouged places. Going from what I have (a cabinet that is passable, but the regular rough spots) but it does have the sideart that I would lose going to a new cabinet.

Nice work DPtwiz!

I have a complete NOS Rip Off sideart that I would be willing to loan out if someone decides to do a repro run.

is that the same cab as boxing bugs?

No, BB is different

not meaning to stray too far from the original topic here, but i have been waiting for quite some time for someone to repro the ripoff sideart, i would take two sets please
