I am working on another product line for my cnc, dealing with model railroading. I find an ad in model railroader magazine for a planning software called 3rd Plan it. I check out thier website, and i see you can export from thier software to DXF, that my machine software can use to cut stuff, but i have some specific questions about it, and call the company.
Guy answers the phone, and i tell him i had some questions about his software, and i tell him i have a cnc setup, and what i want to do with it. I said i currently make reproduction arcade cabinets from the 80's if you remember those. The dude on the phone says, "sure i remember them.. i was the programmer on Qix for taito" LOL! i was like "your shitting me?!?!" Very cool dude... was really cool to talk with him. I did double check, it was Randy Pfeiffer himself, i did a search, and his name comes up with the model railroading software, and found a comprehensive list of who programmed what games. too cool.
