Just got home from a hour drive from picking up my new game, Space Invaders I just bought of a guy from Minneapolis. Fired it up , seams like it all works, me and my kids played a few games on it. Looks to be the back light is a little dim, but all plays fine. Its set up for freeplay with a credit button on the front to add credits. As far as the condition, it is seperating on the lower have of it there, so not sure what to think of that. As so some one had added caster wheels to it .
The owner did say that it was missing some sounds, but sounded how i remember it from when i was younger.
Either way I am very excited to add this to my collection!

I had an SI I got for free but it never worked. Had a sync issue in the monitor and I sold it off as it was.

Is this the one where the guy cut 3 inches off the bottom of the cab because of damage on put it on wheels?

It would appear so. I saw that listing too.

I've turned a corner lately. I'm all done buying craptastic cabs. I'm outta space. Need to reverse the flow.

Yep, thats the one...
But as you can see from the pictures, it was not cut, just that the ply wood on the bottom is flaking apart....

well, looking at another picture of one online, it looks like there is some missing off the bottom. Oh well, still will work great for me, well worth the $50 bucks!

Lol! I saw that on CL and thought about calling but the whole "3 inches off the bottom" made me pass. Glad a KLOVer got it. Perhaps restore it and show pics along the way!

Its nice to see all you fellow KLOVer's from Minnesota chiming up. Seeing I am still new here, is there a way to see how many people from here are on the board ?

I've often wondered that myself. It would be nice if someone would be willing to try to put a list together of the KLOVers from the Minneapolis / St Paul Metro area. I know I had a get together a while back and tried to extend the invite to as many people as I could, but I know I missed a ton.

Wonder if there's any way to plot all of the KLOV users geographically.

Yeah, that too, I seen someone for IL was posting a game nite this weekend, and was wondering if any one has done that around here?

I'm hoping to host something like this. My current work room is undergoing an extensive remodel into a gameroom proper. I'm relocating my workshop into the furnace/utility room of my house. In the mean time, all of my games are being moved to my garage during the construction. The room I'm working with is 10x16, so I should be able to set up something pretty decent.

I know Phetishboy hosted a pretty nice gathering over Memorial Day weekend earlier this summer. He has SUCH a nice setup in his basement. Just beautiful.

I'm at least 3-6 months out from hosting, but it's on my radar.
