I haven't unloaded it or tried powering it on yet. The lady said they work though. We'll see!

You can turn it into a $100 Punch Out - I'll be over tomorrow to pick it up! What's the other cab - Rampage? Dude, I don't know how you do it, you're always finding killer deals. Great score!

Wow, the control panel alone is worth $50! Great score! :beerchug: I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the board works. ;)

What's the other cab - Rampage?!

I lucked into it I guess. They were on CL this morning so I just called her up and went and got them for $50. She also has a Moonwalker but she wants a little more for it. What do those go for these days? It looks to be original but kinda rough. Does anyone make art for that thing?

And yes, Rampage. I haven't unloaded either of them yet since we are busy setting up for a movie night in our yard.

There is a machine on ebay listed for like $3k+
http://cgi.ebay.com/Segas-Michael-J...872?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c6b8e6c8

The PCB listed for close to $500
http://cgi.ebay.com/Michael-Jackson...eo_Games_Coin_Operated_MJ&hash=item1e65f039d9

Why I don't know. Prolly hoping some MJ freak fan will scoop them up? I dunno

I've seen the Moonwalker PCB sold on here for around the $60 range. I wouldn't say the whole cabinet would be worth more than $300. People can list items on eBay for whatever price they want, it's not an indicator of value unless it actually sells, and even then it's usually a fluke where some idiot with too much money overpaid for something.

Well I unloaded them after everyone went home from the movie night. Both are a bit awkwardly shaped for unloading from a truck alone. I suppose I should have enlisted help from the visitors. Oh well.

Anyway, the P.O. does indeed work. Played a couple games for the first time in my life and have to say I don't exactly "get it" yet. The top monitor has an issue that looks like the horizontal hold needs to be adjusted. I can see that there is a pic but it's impossible to really see. I looked at the back of the monitors and don't see a horz hold adjustment. Just a vertical. But it's late so I'll investigate another time.

Haven't tried the Rampage yet at all. I pulled the main board out before transporting because it was loose in the cabinet so it will take a few minutes to put it back together for testing.

Both games are pretty clean inside. They've been in a church youth group room for a while so I'm surprised they are as nice as they are. Not perfect by any means. But decent.

From the first pic, I couldn't tell what the Rampage was, so I thought you got 2 Punch Outs for $50. Hell, for the top Punch Out monitor, its probly the horiz adjustment (someplace), dropping in a cap kit at most. If it was just a $50 PO, that was a steal. The Rampage is a nice bonus. I miss mine a bit at times but I just play it in MAME. Never had a PO but I always liked the Mike Tyson version. I have played the real deal a few times and I really want one. I love the blow by blow comentary. Its pretty crazy with that voice.

Moonwalker PCB has been an easy hundo+ on here in working condition since Michael died. I've also seen "Make offers" on here. EagleTG just had the game up for $850 and it's pending. The price has gone up, it's not a fluke. And in the cases where something does come up cheap - even busted up parts, they are gone FAST.

Do I think it's worth more than $300, probably not, but if you listed 5 working machines on here for $300, they'd all be spoken for before the seller got your PM.

BTW OP - AWESOME score. I love my Punch Out.

I'm with you on the Tyson version, they're kind of different games, and I don't want to name call - but the NES Punch-Out is way more creative and memorable.
