I get the added bonus of staring at the Space Duel side art from my desk.I honestly would love the OG Cabinet more if they had graphics on the head. No idea why there's just cabinet graphics on the base. Hell, they even threw side art on the head of 720 for God's sake.
It's like the Never Ending Story meets Yes meets the Yamaha DX7.
Galaxy Ranger and Astron Belt do have kickass artwork.Astron Belt for sure!!!
Ah, MCMLXXXIII, that was a good year.Honestly though, my favorite to look at is right here. It may not be as striking as the OG but it's mine, MINE!!

A lot of Taito games have the option to completely turn off the copyright yearAh, MCMLXXXIII, that was a good year.
Why we still use Roman Numerals - it's not like the Roman Empire is coming back any time soon.
Ah, 1983, that was a good year.
I worked on an Asteroids (Owl Eye coin door) at Hollywood Candy, that had silver spray paint on the CRT screen.A lot of Taito games have the option to completely turn off the copyright year
Whichever one I just got working again YES. So I'll have to say TRON, because mine sat non -working for 3 years until I finally had the confidence to send both boards out to be fixed. I guess my next one will be TEMPEST, because it's playing blind.
Crystal Castles is a close second. Especially with the translucent trackball that flashes, the shape of the cab and the awesome artwork. Looks amazing in a properly lit arcade to capture the glow but yet able to see the artwork and attract mode.Tron is the obvious answer, imo. I don't love the gameplay, but there isn't a prettier arcade cabinet.
** Technically Millipede is a different cabinet shape. I should know. Tried putting it next to my Crystal Castles and it just didn't look right. So I ended up putting each opposite each other as "bookends". When they are apart they look the same.Yes I agree. I love the style of the crystal castles cabinet. You can't beat the art work! Here's my row of crystal castles, proto cloak and dagger and millipede. Together looks awesome!
