Yep. The Noice Moppet, FTW!
With the attract sound off..... I love just looking at my Space Ace. I know it's daphne. But bringing it back from literally nothing to this point. Watching the attract mode of Dragons Lair or Space Ace over and over again never gets old.
Pac Man upright.. loved the bright yellow cab with the Japanese style/stencil art work ! Along w/Tron, you could always find pac man from a distance in the arcade…

I get the added bonus of staring at the Space Duel side art from my desk.
Space Harrier has a special place in my heart, since the one I own is the same one I played on as a kid. As the weird sci-fi kid into avant-garde music and films, it just hit all the right notes. It's like the Never Ending Story meets Yes meets the Yamaha DX7.
I'm glad that's not a real thing. The coolness density could cause the universe to implode prematurely!
And.....now I have "Roundabout" stuck in my head.

The nostalgia clicks for me when I see it in person. Something about the color of the cabinet and the snowy graphics brings me back to winter in the 80s. The nearby mall had this game and it just stands out for me

Galaxy Ranger and Astron Belt do have kickass artwork.

I worked on an Asteroids (Owl Eye coin door) at Hollywood Candy, that had silver spray paint on the CRT screen.
Out of curiosity I scraped it off. It was hiding the copyright date.
Crystal Castles is a close second. Especially with the translucent trackball that flashes, the shape of the cab and the awesome artwork. Looks amazing in a properly lit arcade to capture the glow but yet able to see the artwork and attract mode.

** Technically Millipede is a different cabinet shape. I should know. Tried putting it next to my Crystal Castles and it just didn't look right. So I ended up putting each opposite each other as "bookends". When they are apart they look the same.

Yes the millipede cabinet is slightly different
Sinistar. But the catch is. it has to have side art exposed and be across from an APB.
The red and blue police lights flashing cancel out the Williams red and blues and makes it appear as the art is alternating/flashing colors.
