So I picked up a Sega Virtua Racing (twin cockpit) and I know next to nothing about these monitors...
The player one side works great and has a crisp clear picture, I believe that this monitor has been replaced on the back of the tube it is marked as a Philips but the chasis(?) board has these markings WG 1940563 near the molex conector for the power
The player 2 side is where my problem starts. It is marked as WG 1398181
It does not power on, I took the molex conector from player one side and pluged it into player two side and no luck.
I took the molex conector from the player two side and pluged it into the player one side and the monitor works fine.
So I believe that player two IS getting power but thats as far as Ive got.
Like I said IM NO TECH, but would love to be able to fix this without having to buy a new monitor.
Any sugestions on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated

I used the cross reference from the WG site and WGM2575-U4GS27J is what the game was shipped with.
THANX

Can you grab a couple pics of each chassis ?
The numbers you posted are serial numbers, no use.
If they haven't fallen off there should be labels like 25Kxxxx.
Or you can also generally go by the "Pxxx" silkscreened on the chassis themselves. (like P793)

They will be medium resolution regardless of what model they are.

That indicates a K7500 series monitor.
But they were also shipped with K8000 series monitors. (big differences)
The K8000 is easily identifiable by the extra power supply pcb.

On the board in question It says P738-f I can pull the board out and take some pics if someone will verify its ok to take the wire (the one with the DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE) off the tube. It says it needs to be discharged before servicing and thats something I know nothing about.
Electricity scares the SHIT out of me almost as much as permanently damaging this machine!
