Hello everyone, this monitor is in a Golden Tee Complete. It worked fine when I bought it 2 yrs ago, but since I moved it the monitor does not work. The game itself works fine as I can hear the announcer on start up but something on the monitor board just clicks. Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance

Brian

The Horizontal Output Transistor...
unfortunately in that chassis there are a lot of things that can cause it to 'click'.

You certainly need to check the HOT, and it may be bad, but it may be a bad cap in the pulse generator circuit as well.
A bad IC can cause that chassis to 'click'... in fact almost anything that causes excessive loading on the supply can cause it to click.
And if it IS the HOT.... make sure you replace it with the actual part and not a sub... the chassis is designed around quirks in the transistor and a sub won't last.
I've tried subs and got maybe 3 months out of the chassis before it popped again.
And check some of the epoxy caps in the HOT circuit for darkening and / or cracking.
