WG6100 Q900 transistor socket alternative

I am starting a tempest restore and am rebuilding a heavily hacked up wg6100 HV board. Who ever did work last on the monitor removed the transistor terminal and socket on the Bu409 on the outside of the HV cage. he just soldered the wires strait to the transistor and didn't bother to even heat shrink the leads. you can see the connectors underneath the transistor on the bottom left of the picture. This is not my monitor, just an example of the housing. I searched mouser for a replacement but came up empty. dose anyone know of a replacement part for this. any help would be greatly appreciated...

I could use a few of these myself.

all of the connectors i have seen on TO-220's on the sega gremlin power supplies for instance were just .100 connectors.
 
Something like this should work.

Edit: Just noticed this is obsolete. Will try to find an alternative.


i called molex and they looked up that obsolete part and compared it to the newer standard KK series with crimp pins (.100 )and said it should work no problem since the pins inside were the same ratings and the housings. i stock a ton of molex and AMP and when i get a chance i can try one.
 
i saw those, but you still need a second housing for the wires. im assuming that the three holes are were you put the transistor legs and you need a female housing for the wire leads. then the two go together.... i think that seems to me the way the originals work

im just leaning towards just using heat shrink to insulate the leads from one another.

you only need the one housing. you crimp pins on the wires then slide them into the housing and then the housing slides up onto the to-220 transistor. like i said i have seen these on all the original gremlin power supplies and they work well and they are less work to install and actually install onto the transistor exactly the same as the ones you posted. the only difference is you don't have to solder & shrink wrap all three wires and also when you solder those wires they get stiff and with crimp pins stay more flexible. just thought i would throw this out there and also i do stock them and they are easy to come by.
 
How about best current option for the BU409 transistor? I see some being touted as equivalent out of Russia, but they are 250V, not 400V. Not looking to pay $10 plus shipping each.
