WG46xx no green, narrowed down to P317 daughter board

Green crapped out on my Pac-Man's 46xx. First checked for continuity in the green video feed in the game wiring and between the chassis & neckboard. All good there. Then tried changing the green transistor on the neckboard. Still no green. Finally decided to pull the P317 and try it in another game I have with a 46xx. Problem is following that board. So I am thinking maybe a bad transistor there? Just checking in to see if I'm heading in the right direction here. The transistors on P317 are 2N3904's. I do have 2N5060's on hand, but I'm guessing those would not work. Can't really make sense of the datasheets.

Anyone want to chime in here?

On a P317 video interface card, here are the transistors that control the green color signal:

TR206 which is a PNP type # MPS-A70.

TR209 which is an NPN type # 2N3904.

The 2N5060 you have on hand is NOT a transistor. It is a Silicon Controlled Rectifier and absolutely NOT compatible with a 2N3904 transistor (totally different animals).

2N3904 is the world's most common and cheap transistor (costs about one penny). Even Radio Shack has them and you can find 2N3904 on ebay too.

i have thousands of both the transistors on my site if you need.
