I'm in a heap o trouble. After carefully removing the wg4606 from a ms pacman, tranporting it 125 miles, recapping it and cleaning it up, I busted the damn neck tring to put it in the car to take it back to the cabinet!
To make matters worse I just found out that 19" CRTs are on the endangered species list as of a month ago.
NOW for the good news..... the sticker that may or may not have had the actual tube number on it is gone. The residual glue is on the rear of the tube but thats all!
The monitor is a WG 19k4606 and I know it was made in 1980. The service manual calls out the tube as a 19vjp22.... Can anyone guess as to what tube "number" this thing would have in it?

Thanks

The 4600 tube is the same tube ad the G07 and the 4900. All you need to do is swap the yoke with the G07 yoke from the broken tube, then make sure it looks good (convergence is okay), then very carefully put it back.

If it were me - I'd pull a working rebuilt monitor of like quality (and burn) from one of my working games and take that back as the replacement, explaining to the guy BEFORE I make the trip so he knows what happened and that I'm replacing it at no charge other than the charge for the rebuild.

Then I'd fix the broken one on my own time....

Found a donor Zenith TV

As a newbie to the game world I don't have anything to swap into the mspac. I was doing the job as a favor for a friend. After doing a little searching, I found a Zenith donor for chump change!
I wish I had found it before a pulled the trigger on a new monitor.

My plan is to get the WG back up as a spare.... and to claim victory over the broken neck curse.

Thanks
