So my Warp Warp died on me. After confirming voltage to the chases started looking at f601 fuse which was incased in a clear(once upon a time) sleeve so couldn't see if it had popped or not. Was trying to get my probes in place to continuity test and well the pic tells what happened next. Good news was it was obviously blown. The monitor display was pretty good before but had sat a long time before waking her up.

Fuse apparently blew after leaving on for a while.

So now.... Relatively new to replacing a fuse like this. What's the simplest approach. I thought about soldering in some fuse holder ends but wanted to hear what people who know way more than me thought. Take it easy !

Why did they solder these low amp fuses in place??

Thanks Oh, I see now. That was by mistake. Please delete. I live out in the boonies and have the worst satilite internet service. Didn't think the other posted.

You can attempt to solder pigtails to a normal fuse. Mostly it works but sometimes it borks the fuse up.

Right I meant the opposite , solder holders in and use a removable fuse. I went ahead and ordered the correct ones though. Not really sure how to get the parts that remain in the anchors out . I'm pretty green here at this. Learning though. Would be great to see someone remove one of these and replace it.

Well fuses came today. Replaced fuse and popped right back again.

Kinda bummed about that. I have one more fuse but we're to start looking.

What could cause this.

dude it's endless!

i searched google and klov and 1000 posts come up with not a single solution.

it's literally the most mysterious troubleshooting one ever has to attempt with any given chassis pcb

your HOT is probably bad

don't just keep putting in new fuses, you have to fix the short first

TR601, meter on diode test, black probe to frame, red probe to case of transistor
