Hey gang, so I recently capped this monitor but I am pretty sure it was doing this prior. On the left side I have a fairly hard white line on the entire left side of the monitor. The pic attacted shows it but it's not as bright or noticable in the picture as it is if your standing in front of the monitor. I messed with the horizontal position pot and the picture moves but the line doesn't at all. I tried various games via my 6 in 1 switcher and the line is there with all of them. Any suggestions on what is causing this? It's not really too annoying but I don't want that line to get burned in either you know.

Is the line there WITHOUT the 6in1 switcher ?

"Typically" when you see something like that it's coming from the gameboard, not a direct monitor issue. So it's odd to see it with several different games.

Just got around to trying this, yeah I disconnected the 6 in 1 and plugged in a board not even in the 6 in 1 switcher and the line was still there. Any thoughts anyone?

this looks like the problem I have with a cab where the top inch of the screen looks like the brightness is cranked up, and the rest is at the correct black level.

I couldn't figure that out either. happens with any make/model monitor you drop in the cab, so mine's not limited to any one monitor, and I don't understand why!

Adjust the horizontal width until that line is just off the screen?

Can you post a close up picture of the right side?

Yeah I will get one tonight, there really isn't anything there but black though. As for moving the horizontal knob, it doesn't move the line at all just the picture.

Ok, I feel like a IDIOT now hehe, every time I saw adjust horizontal width, I was thinking horizontal position. Not only that but I don't why I didn't think of messing with the horizontal WIDTH earlier. I suck, going to do that tonight will let ya know if it doesn't work.
