i apologize in advance for the poor quality pic. but because the white balance is shot on my digital camera, this pic was brought to you by Fisher Price :)

I have a WG19k5603 (basically a 4900 series). when i had a different jamma board in there, i did not see these lines.. then i put in the 48/1 board and get these lines. i also need to adjust the horiz width too.

the thing is that i want to make the menu wider, but then the games will be too wide. i am trying to find the happy medium, but the lines are the problem. Also, the lines only appear on the menu and did not do so on my other cab where the 48/1 came out of.

Looks to be capped fairly recently.. but if that will fix it, i will spend the time to recap.

This is fairly common on this monitor. As far as I know, nobody has solved it yet. Not sure id the lines are visible during the actual game play or only during the menu, but adjusting your v-lin can make them go away, although one side of the screen will look skinnier than the other....

hmm.. kinda funny.. i will have to switch another board in there. I flipped the 48/1 screen via the dip switch and it is the monitor, not the board. I may just swap another monitor in the cab for this sale.

Problem solved!! believe it or not, by adjusting the vertical Hold removed the lines.

i wanted to adjust the vertical size pot, but had my hand on the wrong one when doing the reach around.. gotta hate when that happens..
