Hey I got this Galaga Cocktail in a trade and I go to fire it up and all I get is a SUPER BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT
I have NO IDEA where to start any help would be great

Looks like a 4900

And, yeah, check the signal cable to see if it is connected. And if it is too bright try turning down the flyback "screen" control.
 
That's a Wells 4900 series monitor in there.

If turning down the screen control (located on the flyback) and the black level control (located on the monitor main board) doesn't help, then you may have a problem with the gameboard or it's connectors.

Also, Galaga is well-known for burning up edge connectors on the power supply board. It's possible one voltage is not getting to the gameboard due to a bad power supply connector.

This is my first Galaga and was not aware that the video signal came from the 6 pin molex,there was no indication from the harness (missing wires, cut wires) that anything was missing.
I just built my own temp molex adapter and got it running!
little rusted so the fire buttons are not registering but I think I leave that for tomorrow...
