Hey guys,

Remember those 9V AM/FM radios we had growing up? Take off the back and there were 5-9 variable inductors in square metal casings?

The X-Y board of a WG13K4713 [and I suppose the 4600 series as well] has one of these, and I have managed to twist it to the point of shattering the internal screw.

Part number: L351 201X5200-091 Coil, Horiz. Osc.

Anyone know where one of these can be obtained?

Thanks,
Saltbreez

Here's the exact part you want and better stock up as they are being discontinued:

http://tubesandmore.com/

Item # P-C208R (red painted screw adjust) just 45 cents each!

This is the remaining source for these components so I would suggest other people who have/like Wells 4600 and 4700 series buy these parts.

Ken,

You are usually very reliable; this one misses the mark. The footprint is wrong: both size and pinout.

Thanks for trying to help

The devices you want from the original Wells-Gardner board are in reality "IF" (Intermediate Frequency) transformers typically used in transistor AM and AM/FM radios.

Have you looked in the 4700 and 4600 manuals for a Wells part number? Wells may still have them in their parts department.
