I will post the pictures as soon as I get home, I'm not real sure of the monitor model yet.

The main problem I'm having is at the bottom of the monitor the text is smallest and it gradually gets bigger as the image reaches the top. I was wondering if there was and adjustment for this or if something just happened to it. I tried to tweak all of the pots I could find but none seemed to change it.

Thanks for any help.

That is normally called "keystoning". It could be cause by a cap, but some of the VGA monitors have an on-screen adjustment to adjust it.

Thanks I'll post more monitor information when I get home. I have had this monitor for at least 5 years and at first I was having problems where I have to turn the vertical position all the way up because it won't cover the whole screen, even after adjusting the vertical position pots on the main board. This version has a secondary board that has basic controls on it. (brightness, contrast, vert and horz position and size). It seems like I have multiple problems going on. Maybe it needs a cap kit all the way around?

Here are some pics, is anybody familiar with this monitor?

Thanks for any help!

Looks like a U3100. Caps are old. I'd start with a cap kit, and check the fuse...

Ok so i ordered a cap kit from Bob but the only one he had was for the u3000 series. Which to me seems like the one but the kit doesn't seem to match up. It didn't come with a schematic as to where the caps are located so I'm somewhat lost.

Does anybody know of a place that sells this cap kit?

Thanks for any help, Dustin

I've got a cap listing around here for a U3100 somewhere from when I did one. i built my own, but at least you'll know what is supposed to go where.

I have to find another model list tomorrow, so I'll find this one, too....
