So I'm working on a Neo Geo in a Dynamo cab.
Inside the cab is a WG U2000 monitor that generally displays an awesome picture.

but sporadically, I get this:

red vertical lines, and the colors go wonky.

other times, I get those lines and this:

red horizontal lines that move about the screen randomly

What should I be looking for?
I'm assuming this is a connection issue somewhere, but I haven't been able to track it down.
I already inspected the chassis for bad solder joints, and found nothing.

anyone?
I'm gonna be recapping it soon, so I'd like to have something else to try while I'm in there

So I recapped it, and did a bit more digging.
apparently the chassis is a version of the Wells Gardner U2000

Zombie thread here, but I had the same issue and nobody commented on this or similar threads. I ended up swapping out the neck board and that cleaned it up. I suspect the actual problem to be the video amp (LM1203N), but I had a spare neck board and that was a quick fix. Hope this can help somebody experiencing the same problem out.

Have you isolated the symptom to the just the Monitor?

Hook up to a known good signal?
See any color lines in the greyscale raster with no signal?

Swap another Neck board to isolate the fault to the Neck board?
The ic Or transistor could do that, sometime I hit it with freeze spray
and if the symptom changes then its a suspect.
Zenith tube?
