I just got a new never used early midway touch screen game. The game is setup for 230v 50hz power, Upon me checking the main power supply for the game it is designed to run on both 50/60hz without any issues. I do also have a proper 115volt plug for the machine since the original was made for use in spain

However I am wanting to make sure that the monitor chassis is also designed to run on both 50/60hz power at 115v, I have all of the original manuals as well, I see in the manual it shows on the monitor chassis, that there is a adjustment pot that shows 50/60hz (VR9). I wanted to see if anyone might know if I need to adjust that before I power up the machine, since I do not want to damage anything. I figured though since the main power supply was already setup to run on 60hz 115 that the monitor chassis would probably be the same.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

the 50/60htz pot is used to help adjust your vertical linearity.

plug it in and see what you get.

if it needs work, your welcome to send it in.

Update after testing-photos also added

Buffett, Thanks for information on the pot, I know about some things on monitors but not all still learning.

I plugged in the unit with a proper us cord, which I plan to change the end of the foreign plug to usa style since it is a nice long cord.

The unit fired right up without any issues or errors, the monitor looks very good I haven't adjusted anything yet, I also played a few game and let the machine run, I also ran through the menu checks without any issues.

I am also posting some photos of what the machine looks like on the inside as well as monitor during play just in case anyone would like to see it. I am really happy it works it only shows 34 plays on the coin counter and most of the games haven't been played much. If it can be upgraded I may be interested in doing that as well since I know most touch masters could be. If anyone know how to do that please feel free to PM me or reply to the thread here
