I have an A48ABK05X that from what I can find uses a WG K7600? I can't get in there to see any numbers on the board for now, but that's what I found on google. It's from a Cyberball cabinet dual monitor cabinet if that helps at all.

The right monitor is arcing out of the flyback, and I don't know enough about this stuff to take any steps on my own yet. It sounds like I'm going to need the K7000 flyback repair kit from TheRealBobRoberts. Could someone please verify that and add anything else I might need?

I tried adding a ground strap to the monitor because the right one didn't have one hooked up, but the arcing continued. The left monitor does have the ground strap and is working fine. Could it have something to do with the power supply, or is the arcing out of the flyback a pretty black and white issue?

Thanks!

Any time there is arcing out of a flyback, that flyback is bad and needs to be replaced. Flybacks are brand and model specific so you _must_ remove the monitor that is experiencing the problem and correctly identify it to order the correct parts.

Ok, thanks Ken. The last time I powered it up was approx. 12 hours ago, so should I go through a discharge procedure before I pull the monitor or is it fine to pull it first then discharge?

I pulled the monitor, and a sticker on the chassis next to the board says WG K7601. Should I go ahead and order the flyback kit from Bob Roberts?
