OK, in a moment of weakness I bought a SFRush the Rock arcade with a bad Neotec NT-27E monitor. It also came with a non-working WG K7500 monitor. Turns out someone had installed the wrong CRT in the NT-27E - it has a Neotec 2701 bonded neck CRT which is bad news for the NT-27E HOT transistor.

Soooo, my attention has now turned to the WG K7500 monitor which looks like it will fit physically, but I'm not sure if it will fit electrically. The same genius that put the wrong tube in the Neotec has also given the WG some love, so it is missing the remote adjustment board/harness, and the video signal harness (they just lopped it off at the monitor board). If I make a harness to connect the WG to the SFRush video connector, are they compatible? Any advice is appreciated, except for: "don't buy arcades with bad monitors"!

Thanks
John

Most likely as they are both Medium resolution monitors. With that being said I think you are in a bind without having the remote adjustment board. Most monitors absolutely need that in order to operate correctly.

The WG7500 will work in your SF, I have the same thing running in mine. As mentioned above, you'll want to have the remote adjustment board with it. Good news is, you don't have to worry about an Isolation Transformer with the 7500, see there's always an upswing :)
