WG K7203 issue

check all your work.
backwards caps, bridged solder joints, caps in the wrong place or the UF value is wrong.

was it working before without this issue?

I don't know. I bought it as is. I replaced the flyback because the anode cup was cracked and brittle and tore when I took it off the hole. But honestly, I don't know what condition it was in before that.

You might compare your caps with this cap list.

Confirm they are the same at least.

before you spend a lot of time, and haven't ruled out anything.

Thanks, my friend. Does that behavior look like something that would come from caps?

Yes, Its a start and we can advise other suspects'

You didn't say what the number on the fly so we have to assume

you have the correct one for your chassis.

Always tell the part number then we can confirm you should be good.

if you have a off brand how will we know.

I see odd problems as odd fix's so wrong parts in the chassis is a odd.

and not normal from a flow chart, and that's what flow charts are for

common normal problems not parts in wrong or wrong values.

Your symptom is not a normal issue.

I checked the number on the flyback (TFT1415-002), it matches with what it should be. I checked the caps, didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Touched some stuff up, fired it up again, same thing.

You might check the non electrolytic caps around your vertical IC, and resistors. Follow the lines off of the pins of your vertical IC and check everything around that. I think I've seen this before and it was a way out of spec resistor.

Just a follow-up, I sent it to KLOVer Paul400, and he worked his magic and got it running perfectly again.
