I have a WG k7000 I believe but cannot figure this one out. I have been reading WG threads with no success.

I caped the chassis, replace IC 2 and IC 3, I have checked the diode and resistor next to the Fly back, any suggestions?

Will it run without that vertical board in the middle?

Dude, YOU ARE THE MAN, I yanked that board out and all my problems were solved.

I have been searching all over the web to figure out what that board was for and was afraid to pull it out....

I guess I needed just the suggestion.

I have observed other chassis like this with the slot open but just wasn't sure.

Again THANKS, 1 problem down and one more to go.....

sweet! i forget that thats there for but ive seen more than one that was there at one point and them ripped off lol. i guess i better add this link to the stcky..

Would we be able to get pictures of the screen now that you removed the board? I am sure many of us would like to see the before and after of such an easy (and unintuitive) fix :D

Sorry for the delay, had to make some adjustments on the monitor for the color and repair a few micro switches and configure it for FREE PLAY for the kids.....

the couple chassis i have had with that board worked fine with it.
but maybe your game just did not need it where some games that were shipped with that chassis and that board did.

who knows:confused3: wells did some strage things to the 47 diffrent varrients of the K7000.

glad you got it going.

Peace
Buffett

Wow, those pictures look great :D now to only figure out the last little problem with my K7000 :) I am pretty sure mine is just a convergence strip issue or something like that. Only irritates me on occassion :D
